'D' pen sketches

A few weeks ago, I bought the second volume of the Vampire Hunter D novels. I finally remembered to continue reading them, since I read and loved the first one a few years ago. loved the animated movies too. I decided to get back into it, due to the whole Twilight shit firing up again. And then I wanted to draw D. I, finding myself once again, staying up all night on the computer, looking up pics of him…and goddamn…it’s so hard to find a clear reference of D. I only had a black ballpoint pen in sight, so I drew very carefully with it. FINALLY I draw D for the first time, and I’m kind of happy with these initial sketches. I have to get used to drawing him especially with the lack of references, because I plan on making some bookmarks of him, or something.
anyway, I'll prolly scrap these. I have a more decent sketch to submit in a few mins :/
