1st Predator

It’s been 2 months since I last submitted something. (Hi people )
But YAY.
Something different of mine for once! xD <3


AVP fetish (once again), but I’ve been pretty down about (trivial <__< >__>) issues lately that it makes AvP, to me, that extra bit special 8)
Hey.
Gotta have ‘something’ FRESH to keep things off my mind….

This was meant to just be a simple practice sketch, but I shaded in some parts more than others…so it’s imperfect 8DDDD;;; plus quality was lost when I scanned it.
I intended to finish at the neck. Needless to say, I really got into this and ended up filling the whole A4 page 8)
and umm.. bad anatomy for left arm..

I copied ‘Scar’s’ face from AVP 1 movie from where he removes his mask to mark the heroine.
His eyes in that shot were so calm :3 (Actor’s got pretty eyes...)
I wanted to capture that here, even if I ‘did’ manage to humanise/soften the Predator image
But I really enjoyed drawing this

I designed the (retractable) spear myself (along with some of the armouring coz reference didn't help me much), basing it on the tail of a Xenomorph and also on the weapon that the heroine receives from the Predator Elder.
Eh I know, the spear head probably isn’t long enough, considering the fact that the blade-like segment of a Xenomorph tail is much longer than…the way I drew it.
